Keep Calm and Eat Lasagne Que | Cebu's Homegrown Lasagna

Gambar
Celebrate sunny and rainy days with simple recipes made with heart. Food is important because it carries the tradition from one generation to another.  And that's what Shing  Paca ña did with her Mom's recipes. Introducing Xia's and Xeb's Lasagne Que. What Lasagne Que is all about. After three years of cooking and baking lasagna, making deliveries, posting and advertising on Instagram and Facebook, selling her food in bazaars, Shing   has finally established her roots in Cebu's Makan Ahooy Food Kiosk located in Salinas Avenue, Lahug .  Named after her daughters, Xia and Xeb, Lasagne Que is truly a labor of love. Shing took her Mom's beloved recipes for Lasagna and Leche Flan and created a food business that created a buzz in Cebu. Her main focus is on the food that she grew up with. She also created another delicious dessert, Oreo Ice Cream, which I'm thinking her daughters love to have as their snack. Lasagna with Calamansi and Iced Tea drinks I know for a

As the world gets smaller and accessible because of the many ways and opportunities that are opened up for tourists and travelers. There is a need to create avenues for tour operators, travel agents, insurance agents, airlines, resorts, hotels, and financial institutions to reach out to the expanding market of Travel and Tourism. Game of Thrones Season 6 | Stories of Redemption

Gambar
"WHEN YOU PLAY THE GAME OF THRONES, YOU WIN OR YOU DIE. THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND." In just a few hours, the season finale of HBO's most popular series, Game of Thrones, will be aired. The tenth episode is titled, "Winds of Winter", which coincidentally is the same title of the unpublished book six. George RR Martin is definitely putting some sweet time in writing the novel. Some fans consider last week's episode as the anti-climactic one since it showed the epic Battle of the Bastards. And saw the demise of the much-hated character of Ramsay Bolton. For me, I'm both excited and a little bit sad that the season will be drawing to a close and that we have to wait another year for the next one. Some rumors are spreading that the last two seasons will have fewer episodes since they've almost extinguished the book materials that they have on hand. In season 6, we've seen a lot of stories of redemption from unlikely characters. Previous villains came

Cebu's Makan Ahooy Food Kiosk | Your All in One Food Place

Gambar
Makan Ahooy Food Kiosk just recently opened in June 2016 but it's gaining traction with Cebuano diners. It's right in front of the University of Southern Philippines, Lahug Campus. It's a small food complex where various food stalls or kiosks are offering a variety of meals and dishes that diners can choose from. The place is open from 10am-10pm on Sundays to Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays, they are open until 11pm. Ahooy Makan facade Chef Marc Cuizon set-up the place and even has his own food kiosk named after his son Zee. Zee's Tapsilogan offer different kinds of Tapsilog (a rice combination meal) on weekdays but on weekends, they have a Lunch buffet that starts at 11am. All you can eat for the price of 288php. The highlight of the buffet is Cebu's favorite food of all time, Lechon belly. They marinade and roast their own boneless Lechon belly. Zee's Boneless Lechon Belly Why Makan? Makan is a Malaysian term for "let's eat". And Chef Marc

Cio's Asian Street Food | Cebu's Own One-Stop Food Kiosk

Gambar
Have you ever traveled to Indonesia or Singapore? How about Thailand? Have you tried any of their street food? Are you curious to try their dishes? Look no more since Cio's Asian Street Food is now open for business. Cio's Street Food is the latest food place from Restaurateur Chef Dennis Uy . He's also behind the popular MexiMama Cocina Latina diner. And now, he's venturing closer to home and bringing beloved recipes to the taste buds and hearts of his Cebuano customers. One of the inspiration that pushed him to create this concept food kiosk is his many travels to places like Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. As a chef, he would stock up on ingredients to bring home and experiment with. He wanted to make his food interesting as well as affordable to Cebuano diners. He chose the tastiest dishes that he knew would be a hit with Filipinos and combined them with his beloved Pinoy recipes like La Paz Batchoy and his original pork barbecue sauce. Chef Dennis shared tha

"Let us touch the dying, the poor, the lonely and the unwanted according to the graces we have received and let us not be ashamed or slow to do the humble work." - Mother Teresa What do Emma Watson, Halle Berry, Khloe Kardashian and Anne Hathaway have in common? They all are sporting short or pixie hair. The Junior Chamber International Philippines - Zugbuana Chapter is spearheading the Locks of Love: A Donate Your Hair Project for the benefit of Kythe Foundation and ICanServe Foundation Cebu.  Women and Men who have long hair are challenged to donate their hair for the creation of wigs for Cancer survivors.
