9 Must-try Outfits When Strolling New York City

Yes, that's right. You have to make sure that the clothes that you'll be wearing for your trip is comfortable, weather-appropriate and photogenic. OOTD or Outfit-of-the-day poses are a must for the stylish tourist.

Style writing is not my forte but seeing my brother's photos from his recent trip to New York City, I just had to post about it. It took some time to convince him but I've finally managed to get his "Yes".

You would think that men's fashion is all about shirts and jeans but it's not! Nowadays, men's clothes are competing head-to-head with women's outfits. You'll see more and more men posting their style in Social Media.

Your traveling clothes need not be expensive. Top European and Japanese brands like Zara, Bershka, H&M, and Uniqlo are offering consumers affordable but fashionable styles that every Tom, Dick and Harry could wear.

What's the best outfit to wear when strolling the streets of New York? Preppy and casual is one combination I would suggest especially during the Summer months. 

You can never go wrong with cotton long sleeves, polo shirts, round neck shirts, jeans, and shorts.

Make sure to wear sunglasses and put on some sunblock. 

1. Wall Street and Lower Manhattan.

This white long sleeved shirt is from H&M. Very appropriate for a visit to the Financial District since a white shirt or blue shirt are the favorite outfit of the movers and shakers of Wall Street.

Their specialty drink, Frozen Hot chocolate, made this restaurant popular. Founded by Stephen Bruce in 1954, they are also known for their foot-long hot dogs and other frozen drinks. It was also featured in the John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale romantic movie, Serendipity.
