Philippine Airlines Inaugurates First Tagbilaran-Incheon Flight on June 22
Philippine Airlines, the country's first and official airline, has been flying to Tagbilaran, the provincial capital of Bohol, since 1949.
On June 22, Tagbilaran will become PAL's fifth domestic point with international flights, following Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Kalibo.
Boholanos will now be able to fly directly to Incheon, South Korea from the Tagbilaran Airport via Philippine Airlines.
Travelers, onboard the Tagbilaran-Incheon flights can travel directly without passing through Manila. Flights to Incheon leave Tagbilaran at 5:20 PM, arriving in South Korea six hours later.
Returning passengers and other travelers may return to the Philippines through any of the five Philippine gateways.
The Tagbilaran-Clark flight route will open daily starting June 23. The inaugural Tagbilaran-Clark flight will leave at 6:40 AM. Passengers can conveniently connect to seven domestic destinations: Bacolod, Busuanga, Cagayan de Oro, Caticlan, Cebu, Davao, and Puerto Princesa.
The Tagbilaran-Incheon and Tagbilaran-Clark routes are part of PAL's expansion program.
